MiaPerla

http://www.socionomics.netAn uncanny correlation exists between social mood trends and the success or failure of politicians, and this relationship doesn't end at The White House. Social mood affects everything from the 2008 presidential election to your city council and school board. So, why did Hillary Clinton rebound to win the New Hampshire Primary? Why did George W. Bush really retain the presidency in 2004? Why did the Democrats take both the Senate and the House just two years later in the 2006 elections? This two-minute video from the socionomics documentary History's Hidden Engine helps answer these questions. Socionomics can forecast and explain more than the results of elections. After this video, check out additional resources on the new science of socionomics at http://www.socionomics.net.

yes but why did people vote for bush for a second time..the economy was growing weak..the dollar was falling, oil prices were going up...why? did you believe the war would bring cheap oil and gas for your country?

this is just obvious. When things are going good, people think that keeping the same president will keep them that way. Its just logical.

I say this without having seen the rest of the doc...but uhm...duh? If people's wallets are full, they will want to keep that going. When they aren't, they'll look for a change. I didn't need a doc to tell me that. Also, in what I saw here, it doesn't state the obvious fact that good leadership *can* affect the economic trend...I'm curious to see the rest, but I hope it isn't so obvious.
